I am not an artist.  I am a work of art. That line has always intrigued me.  It makes sense as to why, now. I don't know how to go about saying this, other than by saying I never was cut out to be a man.  I always hated the idea of being one.  I always viewed myself as a female who won the wrong body during the genetic lottery.  Sucks. So, I decided to start going down the road of transitioning MTF this month.  Say what you will about it, but it feels great...and for once in my life, I finally feel like myself. I hate knocking on my own product, but I would be lying if I said I am happy with one of my current books. Sure, I COULD be happy about it, but I am not...so, I am going to do something about it and revise it, clean it up. Put some artwork in it, change the pacing, and expand on it to make a "more perfect" edition. Lately, I have been busy working on the revision for Altaria/Book 0...only 500 more pages to go for the first editing run! It has been a lot of work, as no editor really will work with me on it. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that it is poetic in nature, not following standard formats...thus, the only one who has the "ke

"When everyone is super, no one will be!" ~Syndrome (The Incredibles) Am I the only one who feels out of place here?  There are places I feel at home at, but amongst artists, I feel a bit...awkward, more like a spectator than a participant.  I feel more like a poet and philosopher than an "artist" these days.  I think since I have begun to take my work a bit more seriously, I have rejected the term "artist" and have officially transitioned into the realm of philosophy full time.  My poetry and writing has become a vessel for my philosophy, and not so much "art" in the sense of the word.  Art deals too much in abstractions for my tastes.  We
